Starting Strengths to Quit
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) suggests for patients who are currently smoking the below table is appropriate starting strengths to assist patients to quit. The dose of nicotine a person receives from a NVP can vary depending on the vaping device, the electrical power of the device, the concentration of nicotine, and the length and intensity of the person’s inhalation. Nicotine strength should be chosen based on your current smoking habits. Those who smoke fewer cigarettes may start with a lower nicotine concentration, while heavier smokers may require a higher starting strength.
