However, the Pharmacist has a responsibility to ensure the products are being used for the purpose of smoking cessation or, nicotine dependency management. As Tabuu is an online service, we need to validate that you're a patient using the product appropriately. Therefore, we require each patient to create an account and apply for a prescription. This process ensures we know who the pharmacy is supplying products to and we are providing an appropriate level of care.
Mod devices are for experienced users who have been managing long-term nicotine dependence. Mods generally have external batteries, removable tanks and removable coils, making them customisable to suit your needs. For this reason, they require an extensive knowledge of vaping products and are not recommended for people new to this type of therapy.
Due to the changing regulations that have impacted device and hardware standards as of July 1 2025, there will now only be very limited availability of these types of devices, hardware and accessories.
